Last call for the Unibet Open
So it’s almost upon us: the 30th Edition of the Unibet Open, and as you would imagine it’s full steam ahead. Weekly £50 Satellites are running every Wednesday night at Aspers Poker from 8pm and we have one more warm up event taking place on the 8th-9th November. The warm up events have been a great success with local legend Tim-Tim taking down last month’s event for £5,400 and a seat into the Unibet Open Main Event from the £27,000 prize pool, impressive for a £165 investment!
During the Unibet Open Festival there will be eight side events supporting the €250K Guaranteed main event including a High Roller, two Open Face Chinese tournaments, Unibet Challenge, Two-Day 25K, Tilt Time Turbo, Rapid Rebuy and of course the legendary Flips Championship which is my favourite event. So even if you get unlucky and bust the main there is still many more tournament opportunities to take advantage off.
One of the best things about the Unibet Open is the crazy Cash Game action that is driven by the 27 nationalities that attend, you can expect games to be deeper and juicier throughout the week with some wild D/C and Omaha action sure to take place as well as £1-£2, £2-£5 and £5-£10 Hold’em games running 24/7 so even if tournaments aren’t your thing Aspers Stratford is the place to play poker from the 24th-27th November.
The Casino at the EmpireGreat daily cash game action!
Daily cash games can be found day or night at the Empire’s card room, always starting the day with a reduced 5% rake capped at £5 between 8am til 2pm. Players are encouraged to sign-up for free Poker Rewards membership when buying into any cash game from £50 to make the most of all current promotions. Deals include popular rake free hand vouchers including a tasty fiver off your food order.
Additionally Poker Rewards entitles players to earn 60 pence per hour of cash game play. Then there’s a monthly £25,000 cash race, plus the Bad Beat Jackpot that’s already paid out over £1,000,000 to players. At time of writing, the latest jackpot total had increased to over £30,000.
