What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever seen happen at the poker table?

I saw a guy five-bet all-in from the button in a £1,000 tournament. He got the bet through and then declared to the table: “I was only dealt one card!” and showed the two of clubs!

What’s are your most treasured possession?

My cats.

What three objects are nearest to you right now?

My laptop, mobile phone… and a pillow!

What was the last text message you received?

From my mobile phone provider after I arrived in Oz for the Aussie Millions: “So far you’ve spent £40 on data!”

Who’s your poker hero?

Ian Gascoigne, who is most famous for inventing the check-raise.

And non-poker hero?

Cristiano Ronaldo.

What’s your favourite jumper and why?

Ha ha! My red woolly one, because I was wearing it when I won the Hollywood Poker Open.

Can you tell us a joke?

Why did the dinosaur cross the road? Because chickens hadn’t evolved yet.

That one’s Prehistoric! What would be your spirit animal?

A monkey.

What’s the most extravagant thing you’ve bought with your poker winnings?

Three months travelling across the United States.

Where is the best place you’ve played poker?

Las Vegas

What’s the biggest life lesson poker has taught you?

To have patience.

What’s the biggest bluff you’ve ever made in life away from the tables?

Convincing Shola to marry me!

Would you rather fight ten duck-sized horses or one horse-sized duck?
