Meet Ike.

What’s your most treasured possession?

My bed. It’s in storage in Vegas. Damn the DOJ!

What’s the proudest moment of your career?

Second place finish in the PCA in 2007 in only my second ever major live tournament.

What lessons has poker taught you about life?

Make clear distinctions between things you can control and things you can’t. Refuse to be upset or frustrated by things you can’t control.

Who’s your poker hero?
Lance Funston

Non poker hero?

Steven Seagal

What’s the shittest job you ever had?

I worked in a spring factory the summer after I graduated high school.

Do you believe in God?

No.

Can you tell us a joke?

When I found out my toaster was not waterproof, I was shocked!

What's the biggest bluff you’ve ever made in life?

When I was 12, at summer camp, I signed up for a sailing class. On the first day they asked who already knew how to sail and even though I’d never sailed before I raised my hand. They paired me with an 8-year-old who was terrified of water and sent us out in a little boat for me to teach him how to sail. It started storming shortly after we got out on the water and we spent a long time going in tight little circles with the boat on about a 45 degree angle until someone finally came to rescue us.
