Heroes, bracelets and jokes.
What's the strangest thing you have ever seen at a poker table?
Most definitely a day 2 of WPT Borgata. A player showed up late, and upon arriving, immediately started berating Paul Volpe, whilst flashing his pocketknife to the table. I risked death by tweeting a picture about it and Borgata eventually kicked him out and banned him from the property. In unrelated news, he drew a penis on his chip bag at the end of day 1. Stable guy.
Do you gamble away from poker?
I used to gamble a ton. Blackjack and baccarat. Now I just gamble on the type of guys I date.
If you could slowroll one person (doesn't have to be a poker player) who would that be?
Wow. Purely for entertainment value, I'd say Sean Remz. He's a cash game player, as well as a friend, who happens to go on the most amazingly obnoxious tangents when he loses a hand. And he runs so bad against me. I'd love to slowroll the hell out of him just for the reaction alone.
Would you rather win a bracelet and $300k or come second in a tounament for $500k?
Not even a question it's the bracelet!!
What's the last text message you received?
Hope it was thrilling. :))
Who's your poker hero?
Daniel Negreanu. His aura is spectacular and the things he's done, and continues to do, for poker are to be recognised and celebrated. He always has a smile for anyone and everyone - especially the amateurs. A lot more players should take a cue from him, and be more welcoming and inviting for the players that do this for FUN!
Non poker hero?
Man, this is a tough one because I've got so many people in my life that have directly improved my way of thinking and of doing things, but my friend James Joyner. He's a great father, husband, doctor and probably the best person I've ever or will ever come across. He helped me shed the fear I had in truly being myself and taught me how to find happiness within me. There isn't enough room or time to explain how inspiring he is, but I know how lucky I am to be able to call him a friend. He's truly a force.
Do you know any cockney rhyming slang?
I got nothing. Let me google and I'll get back to you. (That'd be be diddly squat then, me old china. - Ed)
Can you tell us a joke?
I play poker.
Would you rather fight 10 duck-sized horses or one horse-sized duck?
Who comes up with these questions? I'd like to meet them. And I guess 10 duck-sized horses. Seems like the safer choice.
