NEKOTYAN and Finns lead online high stakes scoreboard
Full Tilt Poker actually lost out to PokerStars in terms of high stakes action this past month as Daniel Negreanu has been rinsing the $100/$200 games over at the world’s largest poker site. That, plus the WSOP, lead to Full Tilt’s nosebleed tables collecting dust with a few exceptions.

Security leak found and plugged at Cake Poker
It’s always a shame to report a security leak or problem at a big online poker network but fortunately this one is managed by cardroom manager extraordinaire, Lee Jones. Cake Poker, which hosts sites such as Doyle’s Room, was discovered to have a security flaw which allowed players to view others’ hole cards.
Gus Hansen wins $200,000 at Full Tilt Poker
Despite his live tournament success and millionaire baller status, Gus Hansen is actually the biggest loser on Full Tilt Poker with the exception of Guy LaLiberte. The Great Dane is down over $6.5m since he began playing but it would have been closer to $7m were it not for a nice session of CAP PLO yesterday.

Now that the 2010 World Series of Poker is truly over for all but nine players, the big online tournaments have been building momentum again. A stellar example, as always, is the PokerStars Sunday Million $1.5m guaranteed that saw 8,319 entrants create a total prize pool of more than $1.66m.

Delay for Finnish online poker
Finland’s aim to become the second Scandinavian country to regulate national online poker will have to wait. RAY Poker has been delayed by six weeks after initially being due to start operations on August 27.
Bot ring discovered and stamped out at PokerStars
PokerStars last week froze ten player accounts after discovering an illegal bot ring making the rounds in the small stakes games. From NL50 to NL200 6-max, the bots had played over 8,000,000 hands between them and accumulated $57,839.

Ziigmund wins over a quarter-million dollars at Full Tilt
World Series of Poker – done. For all but nine players at least the 41st annual WSOP is over for the year. This means we can get back to writing about the nosebleed action at Full Tilt Poker and who better to get us back into the swing of things than Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and Tom “durrrr” Dwan?
NEKOTYAN is July’s biggest winner thus far
As you are aware we haven’t seen a great deal of action at the nosebleed games on Full Tilt Poker during the WSOP. This just means that some of the more elusive players have been profiting – jungleman12 was May’s biggest winner while this month NEKOTYAN has made over $600,000 since July 1.
